Neural Pathways 2
I am an experimental fine art printmaker, illustrator, and artist tutor.
I am developing and improving my own printmaking skills through exploration at my kitchen studio space at home and attending valuable, informative workshops organised by the South West Scotland Printmakers and Gracefield Arts Centre.
The screenprints I am exhibiting are part of a series of prints that explore the links between our creative wellbeing and mental health, based on my own research around the art therapy practices of Dr W.A.F. Browne of The Crichton Royal Hospital in Dumfries.
The screenprints include my own images of the extensive grounds of the Crichton Estate, retracing journeys of staff, patients and visitors over the many years since the hospital was first built in 1838.
