Messengers of Peace, iv-Oyin
This piece is a heartfelt exploration of humanity's longing for peace, particularly in the midst of difficult and uncertain times. The work centers on’ the quiet’, often overlooked moments where individuals, yearn for tranquility amidst chaos. I used the CND (Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament) symbol to evoke a sense of calm and solidarity. These familiar motifs serve as reminders of the collective hope that peace is both possible and necessary.
I aim to reflect the shared humanity that unites us in our desire for peace through my subjects expression and posture, I hope to communicate a quiet strength and resilience. In a world often defined by conflict, this piece amongst others seeks to provide a space where tranquility can be felt, even if just for a moment.
