Rhiannon Paterson

I first started attending Rig Arts community art space in Seedhill two years ago. Since then I have explored a variety of mediums including: pencil, charcoal, watercolour, acrylic and oil paints, paper mache and cloth mache. My preferred type of medium is oil painting with a main focus on portraiture. However I am constantly trying to improve and to build on areas where my knowledge and experience are lacking.

In the past I have been focusing on popular media for inspiration, but this year I have sought to step away from media and create art that comes from my imagination and less on reference pictures.
