Statement
Caroline Watson lives and works in Paisley making drawings and mixed material works on paper. She is interested in depicting light and space to create work that is about attachment to place, connection and wonder. She has as a developing interest in photography assisted by a Visual Art and Makers Award resulting in two new series, From the Ground and Here to the Roll Shop publishing her first photo zine in 2025.
She is a member of the Scottish Centre for Geopoetics and is on the editorial team for the on-line journal Stravaig. Caroline is currently on the Board of Creative Renfrewshire.
