Ram skulls
These pieces were both created in 2018 at WCS. Mediums are drawing ink, black fine liner pen and bleach.
For this project, I began by using drawing ink to outline the first skull on the left. I then applied bleach to dilute some of the black ink and experiment with the colouration of the skull, resulting in a subtle yellow hue in certain areas.
I incorporated various colours of drawing ink to enhance the piece further. After that, I used a black fine liner to add details.
The skull on the right, I utilized a leftover amount of purple ink that had been spilled during the creation of the first skull. I applied a small bit of bleaching to lighten its appearance a bit before adding black drawing ink and finishing with a black fine liner.
For the second drawing I initially outlined the animal skull using black drawing ink. Subsequently, I applied bleach to lighten the skull and introduce a yellowish hue resulting from the bleaching process. Additionally, I incorporated some blue drawing ink into the skull for experimental purposes.
