Using local hawthorn hedge I attempted to create a hawthorn crown. I sealed the cut edges with gold leaf. Hawthorn is indigenous and deeply rooted in the older culture, it is associated with the letter H in Gàidhlig, the eighth letter, and goes back further as Uath in ogham that predated Gàidhlig.
