Nutty Nature
A red squirrel about to start cracking into a wee snack. I've only ever been lucky to see these gorgeous wee elusive creatures twice so used a grey squirrel reference for the pose and turned them into a red squirrel. This is a Highland cow calf I was inspired to draw after paying a visit to Pollok park where one of the young ones was chewing away with a dandelion hanging out their mouth! I used Panpastels on brown Pastelmat for the base layer, pastel pencils on top and added in a signature ladybird.
