Fortune tellers made by children always fill me with nostalgia. The process taken to make one is not always easy and that sense of accomplishment when it is finally mastered is priceless. I had my daughter make me one when she was on a folding spree and I had nothing but pure delight in watching in this process. The painting is a reminder for us as adults to remain playful and look for tiny glimmers of joy in everyday.
