Sensory Mobile
This collaborative artwork is a sensory mobile inspired by the abstract works of Wassily Kandinsky and Joan Miró. Created as a group project, the mobile explores the intersection of colour, texture, and movement, aiming to engage both sight and touch.
A wide variety of materials were used in its construction, including card, stickers, pipe cleaners, textiles, bells, buttons, feathers, and other tactile objects. The group intentionally selected a vibrant colour palette to ensure the mobile would be visually striking and dynamic. Each element was chosen for its ability to spark sensory interest and contribute to the mobile’s playful, abstract aesthetic.
Throughout the project, the group worked closely and cooperatively, with each person contributing their creativity and care. The final piece not only reflects the influence of Kandinsky and Miró, but also celebrates the collaborative process—showing how individual ideas and efforts can come together to form something rich, layered, and imaginative.
