David Bowie Two

This abstract of David Bowie is the second portrait of a set of three I'm painting in acrylics. The reference image for this work is from the photo shoot for the Aladdin Sane album cover, but not the final chosen cover image. I have been a fan of Bowie for more years than I can remember and have wonderful memories associated with his music. I decided to paint the portraits in this abstract style to reflect the constant change in Bowie's persona, music style and appearance.
