Blocklist is a film about falling back in love with a city. Filmed in long, static shots throughout Glasgow during lockdown (with nods to Slow Cinema, May Miles Thomas' "The De'ils Plantation", Marker's "La Jetee" etc), the voice of Rachel Robinson tells of how map lines can be tattooed on the heart, and the lengths we go to move on. Starting in sepia and slowly evolving into colour, the film traces the journey from loss to hope, traced out on a map grid.
