Silent Conversations

This acrylic on canvas painting is parts of a project exploring identity and specifically how home and family influence your identity this is a candid image of my dad and sister relaxing at home. I used a bright red base to show the warmth of home and the gallery wall behind the figures as-well as other smaller pieces of the painting remain red. The paintings behind represent the importance of the environments we curate within our houses and how removing them removes a piece of ourselves.
