Unseen Grace
Thick fog morning at Barr Loch hoping to catch the Kingfisher. But with no success I sat on the rock on the edge of the water looking into a wall of white mist waiting for the rising sun to burn it off. I could hear the geese flying overhead and landing in the water, so I sat with my Lumix and a 600mm Sigma hoping to maybe get a glimpse then out of nowhere this beautiful swan flew over my head done a complete U-turn and glided down to the water. There wasn’t a ripple in the water and the landing was so elegant and smooth. I couldn't have asked for more. The experience knowing I was the only one who saw this moment was very special.
