This digital print was created during the monsoon season in Thailand. I practice 'listening to sounds' as a meditation; listening without judgements to the sounds around and about - with equanimity - in this 'headspace', as far as possible, the sound of drilling is as acceptable as birds’ song. I was acutely aware of the song coming through the raindrops as the monsoon quietened - of insects, people, birds and traffic. I started to play with colour whilst listening and enjoyed welcoming this painting. It is Giclee printed on heavyweight art paper.
