The Light of Imagination
Call me old fashioned, but I love a physical book, for there is no greater joy than having a book you love in your hand, and your imagination running wild as you read through the pages. Since my wee years no matter what books I read, the stories I heard, my imagination would start rolling. Whilst my parents fretted over missing episodes of their favourite soap operas, my mind would run wild imagining what could be the next plot twist and blurt it out to them - they didn’t always appreciate this! But that being said, this is the power of imagination fuelled by books, fuelled by reading. The more you read, the more you start to imagine, and at one point you get so engrossed that your spirit, even for a split second, leaves your body to marvel at the wonder of your imagination. Even now, for me, this hasn’t stopped, and I hope it never does, because once imagination is gone - creativity disappears. So, read more, imagine more, create more, love your imagination and embrace your creativity.
