Hello! I’m Isla, the artist behind Scottish Seascapes. I’m a process-led seascape painter with a love for the untamed beauty of Scotland. With Hebridean roots, I’m drawn to the wild places, to the rugged coastline and islands. It’s that connection to my heritage, along with the ever-changing elements of nature, that shapes my work. For me, painting is all about the journey- the process of capturing the raw power of the sea and the history woven into every wave. I love to play around with materials to capture this energy, which is what makes each art work so unique.
