Statement
My photography journey is still new, and I’ll be honest—I’m not entirely sure what I’m striving for yet. I don’t have a five-year plan or a clear end goal. That might worry some people, but to me, it feels like a blessing. This is just the beginning, and there are so many directions this new love of mine could take.
I started photography on a whim. Burnt out from working in a call centre, I needed a change—something creative, something real. So I took a leap, threw myself in the deep end, and enrolled straight into an HNC course. It was a risk, but it felt right.
Now, at the end of my HND, I’m still figuring things out through trial and error. Lately, I’ve found myself gravitating toward portraiture—thinking about the projects I could start, the people I could meet, and chasing that same buzz I felt when I took my first street portrait back at the start of my HNC.
