Gilda McCrann is a ceramic artist from New York, NY.
Inspired by the fleeting dispositions of themes such as nature/climate and childhood, as well as her personal upbringing in the Roman Catholic Church, Gilda uses ceramics to create 3D objects to cement ideas and emotions in time.
Born the youngest of four in Queens, NYC, Gilda often carries a playful perspective in her work and leans on word play, visual parallels, and nostalgia to excite her craft.
