I am a textile designer by trade and have recently started painting. I enjoy mixing colours and creating textures with both brushes and a palette knife. I paint in oils and don’t plan too much in advance. I start a painting and see where it takes me and each time the result surprises me. I enjoy painting Scottish seascapes, flowers and fruit mostly.
