Statement

Since childhood, painting has been my sanctuary—a way to express what words could never quite capture. Today, using colored pencils, pastels, and oil paints, I recreate my world on canvas: a world filled with silent women, dreamlike nature, and emotions that often find their voice only in stillness.

My works, especially those created with pastel on suede board, are a blend of softness and depth—visual stories of forgotten beauty, unseen gazes, and the delicate connection between humanity and nature. Throughout my artistic journey, I have participated in several group exhibitions, and some of my artworks have been published in the book 48 Paintings by Iman Ghasemian.

Each piece is an attempt to hold a fleeting moment still, to capture a fragile emotion. For me, painting is a silent conversation—with myself, the viewer, and the world around me.
