Janice Woolery

I am an artist who has worked in a variety of visual and performance disciplines. Currently, I am working in acrylic and oil. I find inspiration in nature, humor, “trash,” and the human condition.

I believe it is important that we each shine a light on inequity/inequality, injustice, racism, LGBTQIA+ issues, women’s human rights, mental health issues, environmental stewardship, and the struggles of those right outside our own door.

Because of my mental health challenges and lifelong traumas I have had a sensory overload of life experience. My “limitations” keep me steadily conflicted: happy/angry, playful/serious, hopeful/pessimistic.
