Statement
I’ve been drawn to art for as long as I can remember, ever since I could hold a crayon. As a child with a speech impediment, I didn’t speak clearly until the age of four. In those early years, drawing became my first language. It was how I expressed needs, feelings, and the vivid world I carried inside me.
That instinct to communicate without words still drives my work. I’m deeply inspired by the surrealist movement, artists like Salvador Dalí, Frida Kahlo, Max Ernst, Remedios Varo, and Yves Tanguy, whose dreamlike imagery delves into the unconscious and explores the unseen layers of the self.
As I moved away from my Catholic upbringing, I found a different kind of connection through meditation and ceremonial magic. These practices shifted my creative focus. My art became a way to explore the energy of the human aura, the spirit, and the idea that we are more than just our physical forms.
Through my work, I aim to remind viewers of their own inner power—and that there are unseen forces at play in our lives, often supporting us in ways we can’t fully grasp.
