Statement
I am a NHS scientist by day & an amateur photographer in my free time, be it a holiday to Valencia or a bijoux stroll in Glasgow Necropolis at lunch. I am obsessed with photographing the world ????, nature & anything I find beautiful & inspiring. The selection I am submitting focuses on sunsets & were taken when I was an inpatient at Leverndale psychiatric hospital. These were taken during my recovery phase from a severe bout of depression. A sunset marks the end of the day but this selection really for me, denotes the start & continuation of a beautiful life blighted by 20 intermittent years of depression.
